Kapitolyo sa Barangay aims to serve more Bulakenyos
The Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) headed by Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado continues to live up to its commitment in bringing the services of the Provincial Government closer to every Bulakenyos as the Kapitolyo sa Barangay (KSB) project aims to reach more beneficiaries for the year 2015.
Alvarado said the KSB, which is a twice a week personal visit to the 21 municipalities and three cities in the province, has already visited 552 barangays wherein 429,739 Bulakenyos have benefited from the project since 2011.
The governor also said that the PGB will stay persistent and enthusiastic to better know the problems of its constituents for them to provide urgent solution particularly in the neediest communities in the province.
He also admired the support and cooperation of the Bulakenyos to the programs and projects of the PGB like the Kalinisan at Kaayusan sa Kapaligiran (KKK) sa Barangay and Sine Bulakenyo, which are essential to achieve community development.
Prior to this, Catherine Inocencio, assistant department head for Special Projects Division of the Provincial Administrator’s Office shared the services that are being rendered by KSB through the help of different provincial offices.
