35,000 Bulakenyos benefit from Sine Bulakenyo
CITY OF MALOLOS – Almost 35,000 Bulakenyos from 80 barangays in the province have benefited from Sine Bulakenyo, a program of the Provincial Government of Bulacan that aims to further disseminate useful and timely information.
According to Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado, the program will help the public to increase their awareness with regard to the programs and projects of the Provincial Government as well as the important announcements and news about the province.
Provincial Information Officer Maricel Cruz added that the program provides games and trivia about Bulacan to increase their knowledge about the province and to add entertainment and joy to the residents of the community.
Meanwhile, Brgy. Captain Michael Aquino of Brgy. Lugam, City of Malolos expressed his satisfaction on the program as his constituents enjoy the film showing of the provincial government.
Brgy. Captain Natividad Iman from Brgy. San Roque, Paombong also admired the quick approval of their request for the construction and repair of their roads through the help of Sine Bulakenyo.
Prior to this, over 100 families have also benefited from “Pamaskong Handog ni Gob. Alvarado” last December 2014, which is also part of Sine Bulakenyo.
The program was made possible through the initiative of the Provincial Public Affairs Office and cooperative efforts of Provincial General Services Office, Provincial Engineers Office, Provincial Civil Security and Jail Management Office, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Bulacan Provincial Police Office.
