The Provincial Government of Bulacan partnered with the newly founded Bulacan Events Specialist Association to promote the province's various tourist destinations, products and renowned personalities.

Gov. Wilhelmino M. SY-Alvarado said the initiatives of Bulakenyos to create an organization that will help promote the province and their citizen is one proof that Bulacan truly is a cradle of heroes.

"Walang ibang mainam kung hindi ang magtulungan dahil mas marami tayong magagawa kung sama-sama, tulad ng BESA na nagpapakilala sa mga produkto ng lalawigan gaya ng alahas ng Meycauayan, mga disenyo ng damit mula sa Pandi, masarap na lutuin, mga lugar pang-turismo at higit sa lahat ang human resource na ipinagmamalaki ng lalawigan," Alvarado said.

In a press conference held yesterday, Ronald Santos of Thematic Events and secretary of BESA said that with BESA around, events specialists will now have a company who can help them improve on their chosen field.

“The association is open to all, we can give free trainings and seminars and help them be established. Sa totoo lang maraming nagbubukas ng ganitong negosyo pero after a year ang dami ring nagsasara, bakit, kasi hindi kinakaya ang pressure and this is one way to assist them especially during dead months and inspire them to professionalize their business,” Santos said.

Provincial History, Arts, Culture and Tourism Officer Dr. Eliseo dela Cruz said that Bulacan has a lot to offer and can be a venue for various special occasions. He added that in terms of hosting an event, Bulacan is 30 to 40 percent cheaper than Metro Manila rates but nonetheless deliver quality service.

BESA External Vice President and owner of Bistro Maloleño Catering Services Ferdinand Talbenito Jr. added that Bulacan’s tourist destinations are not only known for its beauty but also played a significant role in Philippine history.

Meanwhile, Cecilia Ramos from the Meycauayan Jewelry Industry Association, Inc said that their promotion of jewelries has already reached Europe, United States of America and Asia and that they will not stop learning and find ways to introduce their product to the world.

Also, Percy Rapanut from Disenyo Pandi proudly said that a wedding depot in Pandi is now undergoing.
