QCPD nets Top 3, Drug Target Personality; Two others arrested forillegal drugs
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Chief Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said operatives from the District Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (DAIDSOTG) arrested three suspects during a buy bust operation conducted on Black Saturday in Quezon City.
PCSupt Pagdilao identified the suspects as Lorilyn Carian Y Pulido @ Penpen, 40 years old, single parent, jobless, a native of San Fernando, La Union and a resident of No. 0593 Area 6, Brgy Botocan, Quezon City; Rommel Carrasco Y Laborte @ Balong, 41 years old (March 15, 1974) married, Dep- Ed demolition personnel, native of Cebu and a resident of Brgy. Antipolo Hills, Antipolo City, Rizal; and Cristina Paula Otanguing Y Capistrano, 26 years old, single, jobless, native of Samar, Leyte and a resident of No. 0611 Area 6, Brgy Botocan, Quezon City.
Police Chief Inspector Robert Razon, Chief of the DAIDSOTG said in his report that they received information about the illegal drugs activities of alias Penpen who is listed no. 3 in QCPD’s Top 10 Drug Target Personalities.
At about 6:30 P.M., April 04, 2015, a buy bust operation was conducted particularly at Area 6, Brgy Botocan, Quezon City that resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
Operatives recovered from them five (5) pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as “Shabu”. Police also recovered from suspect Carian a genuine marked money worth five hundred pesos (Php 500.00) which was previously marked as “NGP” by the poseur buyer.
The suspects were brought to Camp Karingal pending filing of appropriate charges.
PCSupt Pagdilao commended the operatives for the arrest of the suspects. He said this is part of the anti-criminality program of the PNP “Oplan Lambat Sibat” as ordered by no less than Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Mar Roxas and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and through the usual support of the Quezon City Anti-drug Abuse Advisory Council (QCDACC) headed Vice Mayor Josefina “Joy Belmonte.
