Gun For Hire Shot Dead, 2 Others Arrested By BACOOR Cops
Bacoor City Police Station –One member of “GUN FOR HIRE” was gunned down and two other members were arrested during an encounter with Bacoor City Police.
On June 26, 2015 at about 2:10 in the afternoon, a telephone call was received by Bacoor CPS from a concerned citizen informing about a shooting incident transpiring at Looban Evangelista St. Brgy. Talaba IV, Bacoor City, Cavite.
The responding Police Officers immediately proceeded to the area and found out that prior to the incident while PO1 Bobby Mati-O Virtudes,(presently assigned at Cavite PPO) was standing in front of his barbershop located at Evangelista St. Brgy. Talaba IV, Bacoor City, Cavite was surprised when he was shot by the suspects. Fortunately, PO1 Virtudes managed to seek for cover and was not hit nor hurt. Investigation also reveals that exchange of fire between the policeman and the suspects ensued caused alarmed to the community.
Thereafter, elements of Bacoor CPS were able to arrest NAJIB DIAMLA y BAILTE, 25 years old native of Iligan City and PROCOPIO TESIL y CONCEPCION 34 years old, resident of Brgy Talaba IV Bacoor City, Cavite.
On the other hand, one of the suspects named JONATHAN PACAPAC y SANTOS @ PONG 38 years old, resident of Brgy. Aniban 1, Bacoor City, Cavite was killed in action when he refuses to surrender and fired his firearm to the operating police officers. Likewise, another suspect managed to escape during the manhunt operation who sustained injury during the armed confrontation.
The Bacoor City Police Station sought the assistance of Cavite PNPCLO for the technical aspect of investigation. Recovered evidences from the crime scene and from the possession and control of the suspects were the following (1) Llama caliber .380 with SN 47211 loaded of one (1) live ammo on its chamber with one (1) magazine loaded of three (3) live ammo and one (1) STI Edge Micro Compact Caliber .45 pistol, with SN 832975, loaded of one (1) live ammo on its chamber, with one (1) magazine loaded of one (1) live ammo and one (1) homemade shot gun (sumpak) loaded of one (1) live ammo of 12 gauge shotgun and three (3) extra shotgun ammo
The cadaver of the suspect was brought to Mesina Funeral Homes for autopsy examination
Bacoor COP, PSUPT. ROMMEL C ESTOLANO said “HINDI AKO TITIGIL AT ANG BUONG PWERSA NG BACOOR POLICE NA SUGPUIN ANG LAHAT NG KRIMINAL DITO AT PATULOY KAMING MAGBABANTAY PARA SA IKAKATAHIMIK NG BUONG SIYUDAD NG BACOOR DAHIL SA BACOOR AT HOME KA DITO”.
