No Classes in Quezon City Today!

Due to the first State of the Nation Address of President Duterte, Quezon City has announced that classes will be suspended on July 25, 2016.

President Duterte is expected to deliver his first SONA at the Batasan Complex which located near Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Malacañang earlier  said that President Duterte's first SONA speech will be short and "clear, concise and crisp."

The Palace has tapped award-winning director Brillante Mendoza to help in the preparation for the SONA.

The Palace also announced that guests will be asked to tone down their attire choice in an effort to make sure that the political event will "not be a fashion show."  The Palace urged the guests to come in business attire or knee-length Filipiniana.
